Evan the "Almighty"?

Evan the ''Almighty" seems to be having a hearty time @NUH when we visited him this afternoon..(Pic speaks a 1000words yeah.)

But seriously Thank God hes not suffering from Appendicitis (per doctor's earlier diagnosis) hence no need for operation Phew..

but poor chap, Hes been put on drip n has not eaten since the nite b4..

Dat explains the grin on his face when lunch is finally being served to him!!

Evan has since been discharged and I believe is now resting well @ home sweet home. Take care dude.

Much as we are reluctant to see U go, I know God has nothing but the best in store for U. He has a perfect plan.

Mission Trip Dec 2006-Hosanna

Well folks know its a super long time ago-Mission Trip Dec2006..just wanna share some of the memorable pics/vivid memories..

Its my 1st mission trip and Seow n I were attached to NissiCheryl's group. We have great bonding with these kids as they are so full of drive and passion. I always believe one cant go too wrong if we have Christ in us.

Honestly I wasnt dat keen on going esp when the date drew closer cos I have problem adapting fast n most imp of all I have insomnia problem!! Gosh Im a potential burden man..a true dilemma.

However I reali thank God for the conviction to go/opportunity given cos I saw God work tremendously in Thailand. I learnt dat everyone has a role to play n God could use all of us to accomplish His work so long we are willing to be his hands n feet. What We are is God's gift to Us, What we become is our gift to Him. Let God take over n cast all yr worries on Him! Its all abt God not us.

Despite the language barrier,we learn to rely fully on God aka led by the Holy Spirit.We performed alot of skits/songs and prayer sessions. By means of illustrated drawings/cards, we picked up basic Thai words plus lots of hand gesturing n went all out to share the Gospel. Everyone has the right to know abt Jesus. Praise the Lord..Healing took place and alot of the Thai villagers came to the Lord! Of course theres others who were sceptical or rather they simply needed more time. I try not to be discouraged as I believe we have planted seeds in them n I sincerely prayed dat the Holy spirit will stir up interest in them causing them to learn more abt our Lord Jesus. Afterall, Its God who draws all to Him.

My heart goes out to the Thai villagers as they are so kind-hearted n earnest in seeking a simple living. I see dat we brought lots of laughter and joy esp to the kids/orphans. I simply adore them.. I pray that theres proper followup for those who received Christ n that more will call upon the name of the Lord n be saved!

Kudos to Anna who organised our TPJC class gathering @ Waraku Central. Cant recall the last time we met up..
Wow long b4 we know it,its our 10th yr anniversary since JC! Was reali delighted to see half of the class turned up.I almost couldnt make it cos of a sudden gastric attack..Thank God I prayed abt it and there I am in the pics :)
We did the usual catching up stuff, joked/indulged in memories of our JC days..(it helps dat some of us have superb memory..very impressive!) Amazing thing is most of us havent changed much after all these yrs. Theres loads of laughter mostly bcos of Andy-how typical of him (Hes the only guy who turned up..In Commerce stream guys are very scarce..theres onli 4 guys in our class haha)

How I wish

I wish I can stop pondering and start doing something
I wish I can proclaim I'm no longer a procrastinator
I wish I can let a Yes be Yes n a No be No

I wish I can spend more quality time with U
I wish I can be certain U will help maintain the place clean (Hint Hint)
I wish I can stop worrying abt U forgetting things every now&then (Seriously)

I wish I can stop pampering U..(I'll try harder next time Heehee)
I wish I can be certain U wont reprimand me for wasting $$ (Hey its yr gift leh)
