God's invitation :)

Last thurs I met up with my friend (an ex-colleague)at PastaCafe in Takashimaya. To be honest I wasnt feeling exactly excited abt it cos I wasnt feeling too well nonetheless I turned up.

We were doing the usual catching up:hows yr job..hows everyone..U mean U are still there blah blah.. showed her my wedding pics when out of the blue came these faces pressed against the display window peeping into our food!
I uttered: Not again...more of these jokers trying to see wats good to order!! cant they just look at the menu??!!
To my surprise I saw Kongsheng, Daryl, HuiJin and Sylvester-Oops wat a coincidence they were out celebrating Kongsheng's advance bday :)

Anywaz Im reali reali glad I met her as somehow in the midst of our conversation, I sensed an opportunity to share the gospel with her. I was reluctant at 1st as honestly I wouldnt think she will eva be interested in Jesus rather Im not sure where n how to begin even though I have known her for abt 3yrs ..2cut long story short eventually the meetup ended with me inviting her to SNL ;)

On Fri afternoon, she actually messaged me asking if she can join us for our Sat service-oh my..Praise the Lord!! Only God is capable of such works.

Came Sat,not only did she enjoy the service (She said its so lively..the praise and worship songs are nice..its so different from wat she intially perceived!) she also joined us for cell group and dinner afterdat. Wow.

I pray she will join us in subsequent services n cell grp.. Above all, I pray she will experience God's love n be saved one day!

Top of the M!

Me and Seow went for seafood lunch buffet at Meritus Top of the M Revolving Restaurant last sunday -Its part of our wedding package peaks with a validity period of 3months..Thank God I recalled in time phew ..its Singapore's original and highest revolving restaurant where one can enjoy the spectacular view of the city, some 173 metres above Orchard Road while musicians soothe diners with their evergreen favourites.. (Seow asked for e song I'll grow old with you by Adam Sandler but we had 'If" dedicated to us instead as they are not familiar with our selection.. nonetheless its a beautiful song)

Wat a fine dining experience we've got !We were literally bedazzled by the sumptuous variety of the finest ocean catch cooked in traditional French style eg South Australian clams, Lobsters (I had lotsa of it!!),Mussels, Escargots,Oysters, Grilled Sirloin steak,Salmon sashimi and Grilled Salmon etc -Yummy Yummy!!

Ones equally spoilt for choice when it comes to dessert: theres all sorts of exquisite appetisers like dory fillet dipped in avocado salad and tangy tomatoes;lotsa small french Canelé in cocktails like cocktail champagne with blue cheese and endless fruit pastries they even have lemon, vanilla and chocolate sherbet..(point 2note: some of the appetisers taste reali funny or should I say simply Unique?)

Seow cant get enuff of the chocolate mousse and tarts-its sinfully good!! And needless to say I enjoyed myself as much-pastries are my all-time fav yeah!

Hmm and if I reali have to pick on one thing :We actually experience slight giddiness from the revolving motion! CMI wat a joke!..this time its Seow who said: Kallang.. Wo yao tu!!!! LOL

It would prob be a better dining experience for us if its not revolving haha!! then again it wouldnt be called Top of the M Revolving Restaurant yeah :)
