Hiz,

Been pretty busy with my work hence no time to update my blog..quite abit of things have happened within these 2-3weeks.

1st and foremost..I really thank God for granting me a perm job (Treasury Operations) at NOL a shipping company..
I couldnt have clinched the job without God..of course danks guys for all yr prayers!

They were supposed to revert to me the outcome of my interview in one weeks time however on the day itself I didnt receive any news nor email ( they previously rejected me via email for a 6 mths contract position which I tot I stand a pretty high chance during the interview some months ago).. hence Seow told me No news is Good news in this case.

I recalled calling them and expressed once again my keen interest in joining them..
And their reply goes...Yup we registered yr keen interest but we are still looking thru some more candidates..will let you know. (oops..I think I may have pissed them off alittle here..oh well.)

Honestly both Seow and me felt reali disappointed at this pt in time as we felt I'm obviously not the best choice to them..

As the weeks passed, I was even more certain its a gone case but something inside me tells me to continue praying that God will place me at the right place in the right time..that God will grant me a perm job..a Good job.
I comforted myself that in the event I dun get the job, I will still thank God for the opportunity once again and that God knows wats best for me. I should trust in Him no matter wat the result will be.

Praise the Lord! last wed or so I rec'd a missed call from NOL at 7.50pm!!
The HR lady was desperately trying to contact me..
I was offered the perm role when I seriously wasn't even expecting it anymore...
How strange indeed or rather our God is truly amazing!
Oh my...He can turn all situations around!

I dun dare to say this job is necessarily the best fit for me cos honestly I had never work outside banks b4 ..I have my share of fears rather doubts abt it from time to time still.
I wonder hows the culture and colleagues like? Seow kept assuring me its prob better for me in terms of working hours as well as the overall work environment..I certainly pray so.

Now that I think back, I believe God has a bigger and better plan for all his children. I prob didnt get the previous contract job cos God intended to place me in a perm role yeah?

I simply couldnt have clinched the job without God's divine intervention.
Harlow..Not only do I have no experience in treasury..I had never worked in a shipping line before..

Yeah...I finally got a perm job now its time to focus on looking for a house :)
Speaking of which...(Drums rolling...) We finally found our own place !!

Seow and me bout a 4 room flat at Lengkok Bahru ...somewhere near Redhill mrt.
Its a resale flat and honestly its not that fantastic cos itS a pretty old flat.. abt 22yrs old and only 84sq m. Also theres minimal renovation done-The plus point being we get to decorate the house the way we want and downside is of course...we need loads of Vit M $ to do up the place on top of the pretty hefty cash over valuation fees.

We prayed for a place of our own for quite sometime. Though I'm pretty happy staying with my in-laws (I do..okie!!) Guess Seows rite..We all need to have our own cozy little place to call our own 1 day:)

We actually balloted for new HDB flats a couple of times and been rejected for every single one to date.But we believe God has His reasons and we trust He will provide us with a decent place one day.

True indeed...God is truly amazing and I'm in awe.
Suddenly I have a new perm job and a house! Wow...I'm overwhelmed!

I've got to pray really really hard that I can survive/excel in my new job! Now that we have a car and house to finance..I really got to buck up..(this means I cant be Out of Job Again..oOps.)

Also Phee, Maikal and Huiping...pls come and bunk with me when Seows away from home for reservist can?? Kallang doesnt like to sleep alone :)
Pray that I can overcome this fear of mine too..

I honestly pray I can do God proud and bring glory to Him in everything that I do.

This is truly a new beginning..
(Hmm I hope by the time I settle down in my new job...not only do I grow with the company..Seow and me can also start planning for little chewren..Hee..again its all in Gods timing :)
