Prayers required-Worried

Pls pray for Engyeh..

His Blood pressure is getting higher.. from 140 to 145 (not a good sign!)
No wonder he's always having headache esp. lately..even when he's leading on stage!

Doctor suggested him to go for blood test this sat to see whats exactly wrong/find out underlying cause cos man of his age shouldnt have such high BP.

Oh no..Now I'm reali reali worried..
(really in no mood to do things/start work now as theres a sudden strong fear consuming me)

I know God is in control/Hes our Healer.
having said so..I cant help feeling down/worried/helpless.
I can only pray for him.

Dear God..Pls heal Engyeh!

Lord Jesus..Our Almighty Father in Heaven..I lift up Calvin into Your loving hands.
Thank you for bringing us this far. Lord I pray that Calvin's blood test results will turn out favourable/his BP readings will revert to normal healthy reading and stay on! I pray he do not even need to take the blood test on sat! Father I want to commit His health/all our worries into your mighty hands cos I know You alone are God. You are in control of ALL situatuons. I believe You're our Healer! Father grant us the peace of heart and strength of mind to rely fully on You during this difficulty time. In Jesus's name I ask and pray. Amen.

Surprise! Bday celebration for..Evan at Thai Express @Holland Village. Its nice to hang out/chill/fellowship outside at times-Thank God for the sumptuous meal..thanks to Rhea (aka Mastermind) for treating us too!

Today I went to sign my employment contract-
6 mths Asst Manager contract role with OCBC Investment Operations.
still feeling surreal rite now...

Engyeh is (Of CoUrSe!) extremely happy, aS fOr me..
Kinda having mixed feelings..
Feel excited yEt worried.

Of course I'm really glad I finally got an job offer after going for abt 20 interviews or so (Yup I actually counted!) Its extremely hard to feel optimistic after so many rounds of rejections/hurdles. (not to mention repeating the same old things time after time/getting feedbacks :You're Good but prob not a good fit for the job at this moment ..blah blah)

but God is GOOD- Even though its only a 6 mths contract role, He is true to his promises.
He will provide us with a way out if we trust in His Timing!

after being MIA for so long (counting down to my 1st yr wedding anniversary real SOoN- you do the math)..I'm not sure if I can cope with the harsh expectations/Zzz on time or rather Zzz at ALL?!

I can only pray hard cos

Only God can turn situations around.

Reali glad I went for last night's WorshipCentral Celebration:
An evening of Worship with PlanetShakers and Tim Hughes
even though I have not fully recovered from cold/despite heavy traffic conditions due to earlier downpour..

If I have to use just one phrase to describe it: Its beyond good.

2 and 1/2 hr seems a fleeting moment..
Its been a long time since I felt this free..
I forgot all thats weighing on my mind..
It feels good
worshipping
dancing
dwelling in the Lord's presence..
feeling joy and looking forward..
simply in awe of His Splendor..

Sufficient for Today

For Yesterday I shall not fret, nor fill my heart with vain regret,

It's disappointments, cares and fears are hidden with the passing years.

God has them safe in His care, and trustingly I leave them there.

Tomorrow holds for me no fear, It's problems all will seem quite clear

When Christ, my inner guide and I shall face them: So I do not sigh

but calmly trust the coming day to Him who always knows the way.

And since God holds my past secure and keeps my future safe, I'm sure

that in Today, this very hour, His love, His wisdom and His power

are in my heart and there abide, to comfort, bless, sustain and guide.

So for Today I know there'll be sufficient strength and grace for me,

Sufficient wisdom for each task, and more than this I cannot ask,

Just for Today, sufficient store of all I need. Who could want more?
